Boat trip to Besov Nos (Devil's Nose)

Travel in time and acquaintance with ancient stone drawing figures-petroglyuphs - unique monuments of monumental art of an epoch of a neolith (IV - II millenia B.C.).

Besov Nos is located on the east shore of the Onego Lake, and numerous stone drawings of Pudozhskiy area of Republic Karelia represent human life many thousand years ago. Rock drawings cause interest not only among researchers in areas of archeology, history and culture, but also in tourists.

Drawings were always created close from a water level, on coastal rocks where lichens did not grow, and the surface was the purest and smooth. Petroglyuphs are carved out by continuous dot impacts of a quartz chipper on all area, less often - only on a contour of figure.

For Onego petroglyph images of birds (mainly natatorial), elks, deers, boats (the some people with oarsmen), people and figures, many rare figures (the snake, a dog, a fish, skiers, etc.) are characteristic.
